    Re: Post your work area!

Been Super busy with work, then the wife broke her foot about six weeks ago. She had just gotten a new-to-her car a couple of weeks earlier. I haven' really even had time to do any modeling. In the last 6 weeks, I have gotten the legs an waist done on my RG Zephyranthes. I have been lurking late at night, but not really posting. By the time I pick up the wife(she can't drive right now as it is her righ foot she broke) get home, make dinner, eat dinner, clean up dinner, get the wife settled in bed or on the sofa, I am too pooped to really do anything. I do keep watching your thread Zaku. I may also be sending a package your way as it will be easier to restart the styrene collection than sort it out after moving it.

    Re: Post your work area!

Ouch. Im sorry to hear about her foot. How bad is it? There are a lot of little bones in the foot that can heal wrong and cause problems. I hope that doesnt happen. And its all good man im just glad you haven't given up on the hobby entirely. Life comes first. And ive been putting those styrene parts to good use. Again thanks man. Hobby supplies are rare out here in the bush. And if you see anymore figures you want there yours. These things have just been siting in a drawer the whole time.

The wife just broke her heel and sprained her foot. She is almost healed and quite the trooper. She would have made a great marine, if she wasn't such a girl(I like that about her) She is set on driving by monday(the 25th) The garage, hopefully, will be complete in another week or so. Once that happens, I can start moving the car parts... tons of those: and the model stuff. When that happens, I will let you know what I have extra and you are more than welcome to them

    Re: Post your work area!

Good to hear she is on the up and up. Give her some Motrin and tell her to drink water. She will know what its like to get hurt in the Marines then lol. And the 25th is my B-day and are you going to set up a place to work on models in your garage? Or just for storage and keep em in the house? And thanks man. But seriously you are the only one who was really interested in the figures if you want more let me know.

Yup, the modeling desk in the house is moving out to the garage. It will also give me a place to paint out of the elements, which means I can set up my airbrush again. I have been without it for over three years now. I think that has been the main stumbling block to getting a lot of stuff done. Never will stop modeling, just slowing down for a bit!

I dont have a workspace nearly as cool as some of you guys, but I thought I'd share anyway. I have a loft bed so I put my table and shelfs under it initially for storage and doing homework and such but now it serves as my gunpla work station!

Sounds like you will get to be more productive sense you can just paint them right then and there. I really need to build a ghetto paint booth.

Surprisingly none... I swear my carpet literally absorbs any piece of plastic that falls on it especially mono eyes... The basement is all torn up right now where I had a desk so once it's repaired I'll have my space back, or even better I'll get a new setup when I move out

My work space is yellow instead of blue, but quite similar. My problem is with the cutters. They have more weight behind them than just a lowly hobby knife. Luckily the bleeding stopped pretty quickly.
