I'm thinking of investing in a turntable base but it seems that some of em make a noise when they're turned on which can get annoying. Are there any good silent ones and where could I buy one?

I'm not able to assist you, but I guess, if you purchased a turntable, you'd not own/possess enough funds to buy your 1/144 HG Dendrobium, would you? Have you already tried out other forums expertising on topics such as these?

I've never been affiliated with the recommended page, yet I think it's a well-considered adivse to give Gundamswag. http://www.sputnikmusic.com/forums/

Attempt to have your problem solved over there, if you like.

Personally, I've not met any DJs on GF.

Not turn tables for records, Deathscythe. He's talking about display stands with rotating tables or bases to display all sides of a model. Don't be embarrassed, though, that's an honest mistake that anyone could make.

Anywho, I'm quite interested in this topic as well. I know squeam has a rotating base that is a little noisy on camera. As to whether or not it is noisy in person, well, he'd be the one to tell.

Lol That was pretty funny, but don't be embaressed. Yeah, I'm talking about those rotating bases that I see in a lot of reviews on youtube. Plus I'm a guitarist all the way. :D Also, I've visited sputnik on a number of occasions. It's a fantastic site for music. Squeam. We need you. lol

I didn't know that. If I had known that, I'd have submitted a proper answer.

Yeah, you've already told me not to feel embarrassed, but I'm just unable to follow your advices.

I'm feeling humiliated and that's everything I've got to say :

Yeah, Joe, that little one makes quite a racket. I actually just got a new one from Robot4Less. Since GSAM doesn't sell them, here's a link to my new one: http://robot4less.com/rotary-display-stand-10-mirror-top?tracking=4e8fa45725e7c. I LOVE it! It is super quiet, has 2 speeds and is huge. If you want to see it in action on video, check out my latest video review of S.H. Figuarts Lunatic here: http://youtu.be/f_6bFVyA7Tw (don't worry about the length, the base is used right away). I highly recommend it.

Thank you so much Squeam. I have to get this now. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find a quiet one at a reasonable price. You da man.

That price isn't bad at all! Now if only I had money... :-P Oh well, patience in all things, including buying stuff.
