I noticed that a few members are doing this so i'll be doing the same. This way i wont flood the boards.
I'll start off by posting my recently finished Genoace [rge-B790]. There will be a few more posts on this kit before the next one, either "titus" or "Real Grade MKII Titans". Thanks for looking.

i wasn't really a z'gok fan but this thing i can dig man nice work. that brown actually goes pretty well with this thing

one criticism is idk if its because your flash is on and its throwing it off but the back of the legs/calf area seem to be very uneven and what i mean by that is the shading seems uneven. the left is much more drastically darker when compared to the right but like i said the flash might make it much more dramatic then it is

jaqio
July 2, 2012, 5:57 PM
The shading is unintetnionally uneven on the kit.

July 2, 2012, 6:18 PM
ok lol but dont get me wrong this thing is awesome i just like it when people pick things out on my kits so i can improve so dont take it like i am saying its bad because this thing is quite lovely lol

July 2, 2012, 8:51 PM
It's very hard to come across new color schemes on kits, since there are sooo many builders out there; but you always have a unique flair on your kits. That Z'Gok is unlike anything I've seen, in a VERY good way!

More awesome shading! I appreciate the amount time it must have taken to prepare the poses and pilots for your photos. One of my favorite Gundam designs and you have most definitely done it justice.

jaqio
July 9, 2012, 6:30 PM
Thanks Squeam. Your comment is not only very appreciated but also motivating. Like you i'm also a fan of the gundam MK-II so at the time i built this kit i really tried to put my all into it. so i'm totally happy that a fellow fan of this suit likes it.

jaqio
July 9, 2012, 6:41 PM
Thanks as always thwalker13. Your totally right as regards the lining man. At the time i did this i was still new to shading effects so i thought that the shading would be dark enough to compensate for lining, but i was off in that assumption. Unfurtunately i'm not brave enough to go back and add that lining and some ink wash in a few areas of this guy, but belive me i think about it every time i look at it.

It did. Reminds me of that scene just before they turn on the hanger lights revealing a brand new mobile suit. Where all you can see is faint silhouette of the Gundam.

very nice job, I still know nothing of this new gundam AGE only because I am still catching up on unicorn and 00. From what I've seen though all of the AGE kits look pretty damn awesome. Any chance you know more about Gundam AGE? is it a manga or has it come to anime already and I've seriously been under a rock.

Hello, and thank you for the response. I don't know much about age myself but yes it is an anime that is currently running and there are also side story manga to go along with it. It is an story that takes place over 3 generations of mobile suit pilots and seems to me to be an almost tribute series to the gundam franchise. There are a good few similar designs and story elements that run throughout this series and other versions of Gundam, but then again i belive that a good few members from past series contribute to this show also. The gimmick for the main mobile suits are that there is a base version Gundam, "Age 1-Normal" for example, and throughout the series it gains various upgrades that change the mobile suits attributes like "Age 1- Titus" increases Strenth and "Age 1-spallow" give it quickness and increased agility. Personally i have not been able to get into the show so my knoledge of it is very sparse ,but there are alot of people here that i'm sure can give you a good rundown of this version. Oh and welcome to the boards.

Thanks. I had the Alex for a good while and just could not think of what i wanted to paint the dang thing! Old age creeping in i guess? So i played it kind of close to the original.
The Sword Impulse i acually painted up to the exact color scheme and tried to do silver line wash, but "Mr. Bungled" the whole friggin thing up,
so i just took some cans i had and did a quick cover up to save it. So i just consider it some kind of ghost op mode lol.

Ok This ones not completely finished but, everythings done but the painting. I can't finish this untill maybe next year due to some issues out of my hand at the moment. But this is what i was going for and thanks to my micro sanding sheets i was able to kill alot of the roughness of the work.
Like Joe mentioned in one of his vid updates, i have had my own builders block for about 4 months, i just happened to have a good deal of progress pics of older builds that i have been posting. But during that time i have become addicted to watching Plamo Tsukurou again! also many vids of other online hobbyists . But one thing that really caught my eye was Scribbing, It seems like such a fun way to Personalize your work and to just let loose creatively with it.
Now granted i am an complete neophyte and do not claim to be good at all at this, i just wanted to share something new i have been trying and hopefully get some suggestions on how to do a better job.
And Thanks to you guys for taking time to look at my thread!

Very nice, I do have both versions of the Zeta I just haven't built the 2.0 version yet. Now after seeing two people complete this kit is really making me consider buying it since I really do like the Zeta series I did buy the special edition boxset that came with the poster and I believe pencil sharpeners?? I'm not sure I never opened the exclusive content because I wanted to preserve it until I had a glass case to put them into. Here's my Zeta shelf so-far minus the zeta because I just haven't figured out how to put the shuttlecock mode onto a stand.

http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/bb202/gundamben831/DSCF1644.jpg

I still need to build as I mentioned Zeta 2.0, Red Rick Dias and the Titans Mk.II 2.0

September 26, 2012, 1:24 AM
Man i looove your colection! I would also wish i have the type of shelf space like you've got there. There's so much Zeta stuff i want and you know, i keep going back and forth on buying Hyaku Shiki but i want to try out my own chrome finish which i have been trying out to no avail so far but i'm getting close.
There's just something about the Zeta series model kits, There so much fun to build and look very good to boot, but with me the design asthetic is right up my alley, being an old school 80's mech head and all. Which is kinda strange seeing that the seed/destiny kits are my all around favorite model kits? And i can't even bear to watch that series! No offence to it's fans of course.

Gundamben831
September 26, 2012, 11:01 AM
Yeah I agree the aesthetics of how the mobile suits look in Zeta are just amazing hence why I collected so many from that series. I would say just buy the Hyaku Shiki only because you will not regret it, very little to no panel lining needed and the only thing I painted on him was his hoses the red was just too off and more of a blood color than a bright red I wanted to have. Ironically That kit has taken two spills and the only thing that broke was the hyper bazooka the little clip that attaches to his backpack. The only trouble with Zeta is that there isn't much for the Titans or the Axis factions of MG kits, yeah I know there is the Mk.II's and the Qubiley and a few other kits but some of the one's I'd really like to see is a Bawoo, a Gaplant and a few others I can't think of at the moment but you get the idea hopefully.

Now as for seed I really have mixed feelings about their kits and anime. I for one still haven't even bothered to watch any of the seed anime's, I only own a Red Astray solely for the reason that he has a Katana ( I mean seriously what kind of gundam has a Katana Sword for his self defense) I do plan on buying the RG strike and the RG Skygrasper because I am in love with the RG series and well the strike isn't all that bad he looks cool and with both weapon add-on's it makes him quite a bad ass gundam too, again never watched the anime so I have no idea how the mobile suit acts or what poses he does.

jaqio
September 26, 2012, 12:13 PM
Sounds like a great recommendation to me. I think i'll go ahead and get it. And man, Master Grade Gaplant. That would be one of the best kits ever! i don't care if it's like MG Ex-S gundam and only sits there looking amazing, that has got to happen somehow.
The Real grade Strike is an really fun build and very durable. Mine took a few high spills itself and not even the fingers came off! But, i can't get the aile strike pack to stay on though. I do want those add on packs though.

Glad that you like them. The Kamen Rider stuff is something along the line of loner antihero type stuff, The current era at least. The franchise has been around for about 40 years now and theres been a few adaptations for the american market that never really took off. These kits are from Kamen Rider W(double) an almost mike hammerish type detective themed variation of the kamen rider concept. And are easy fun builds and even better so, easy to paint. Hopefully that barnaby brooks jr. kit from the same kit line is easy to paint also.

There is an noticeable discoloration on some areas, as it's my first attempt at pearlescent topcoating. I didn't see the pearl effect upon initial coating so i, being impatient screwed around and overspayed the kit instead of lightly coating it untill i saw something satisfactory. But even with my mistakes i still like it alot. And yup! it's another older build of mine.

Thanks as always for the kind words guys.
I would definitely suggest the Wing master grade kits. There really fun builds, and look amazing painted or not.
Though, if you build them one after the other the similarities in construction could slow you down a bit... I have had heavy arms since it came out, but i just felt burned out on the xxxg frame. But now i'm about ready to build it.

I'm current'y working on the MG Wing custom and in my backstock I have MG Heavyarms, Deathscythe Ka., and Wing Custom Ka. I still need to buy a Sandrock and Shenlong to complete my Ka. theme of the master grades. BUUUTTT I really do want the original MG wing only because how amazing the detail on the kit alone is just stunning and how the memories flash back in an instant when I look at that kit when its completed especially yours, I really like how much detail and time you put into your Wing kits.

Thank you gundamben831. You know this board really helps me alot in not only trying to improve, but also having so many cool members like yourself that take time out of there day to check out your work and comment on it. I know i say this alot but i honestly appreciate your kind words and help guys.

I so agree about getting Gundam Wing nostalgia to man. Though i'm an 80's kid, i am and will always be a complete mech-head! Watching Gundam Wing in the 90's was such a fun and inspiring 49 episode trip to me. Also the legendary (in the west at least) Endless Waltz. Which i must add completely confused me because of the whole gundams where never seen or needed again thing in the series finale and all? But anyway, I'm thinking of repurchaseing some wing kits and generally doing better prep work and paint jobs on them and displaying them in one of those ikea cabnets. It would have to wait until i get all the new seed stuff though.

Oh! and i'll have to pick shenlong as my fave of all the kits so far myself. I just really dig mostly white mobile suits even though sandrocks more monotone in pallet.

An older quickly painted out of sheer boredom Quanta..I actually cobbled together alot of parts from other kits and made many swords and daggers for him, but cant get him to hold a darn thing! Plus i painted him previously, and repainting it must have weakened the plastic as it's so fragile in the moving areas that i have to keep it fix posed.

Hello Everyone... Today i'll be posting something not quite everyones cup of tea. But i really do like this one.
Long story short. This is my direct "COPY" of another modellers work. I was just so inspired and in awe of it that i had to try this one myself.
The original modellers name is "Kumataro", and he's pretty awesome in my opinion. So if ya dig it! all props to him guys. And if not then it's all on me.

I am a fan of both the Super Sentai & Kamen Rider franchises. So when i saw Kumataros "Delta + Kamen Rider Decade" custom i just had to have my own copy.
As i really have been looking for a reason to buy this kit and Decade along with Kabuto and W are my favorite riders plus my entry to pure japaneese tokusatsu.
So thanks to the original modeller for such an awesome custom! and i hope i's ok to post it.

These are figures i bought. Decades the Pink (Magenta) and Black one.

I've been thinking alot about battle scarring myself. And i have tried once just for the heck of it and had alot of fun doing so to. But i also see that it is an skill set all it's own! I now have been noticing how the modeller has to somewhat tell a story with the damage placement and weathering gradient, where as i was just thinking that haphazardly scrapping up a kit and dry brushing the thing was all you had to do.

Heres some pics of my attempt about 3 years ago.

Thanks thwalker13. Yeah i keep hoping beyond hope that someday an american company would give us some thing that comes close to No Mercy or fire pro.
So i just keep on settling (which is why these games never improve) for what's new coming out. since those are the only kind of games i play. But man, if only somebody would take the risk of going without a license particularly the "WWE". And throw in a bunch of indy moves and create a lot of moves and reversal in different styles. I'll Flip out. Oh yeah! and get rid of all the cheaters who hack their guys online, But none of those are gonna happen.

My fastest painting of a master grade yet, just about a week.
My original plan was to make a Shin Matsunaga custom Marasai, but at the very last minute i went for a variation on the zaku green.
Also, i never liked the gun for this suit so i went ahead and hobbled together some parts and a bit of sheet styrene to give it something more bulky.

Is that the Kotobukiya minigun? If so, it's amazing how great it looks with the right paint job and some additional features.

Excellent paint job on the Marasai. Happy to see the lack of chrome thrusters too, haha. What made the paint process so quick?

Haha, I bet you did do a bunch of touch-ups on it, but the fact remains that it looks great despite any fixes. I've done numerous touch-ups and last-minute fixes on my recent kits. I must be terrible at it, though, because they're pretty obvious, whereas your Marasai has very few (if any) signs of such things.

I noticed there weren't any decals on it. Not interested in them or just didn't care for this particular build?

Thanks again Dlinker. It's always awesome to know that someone likes the work you've done on a kit.
Oh yeah, I decided against the decals this time as I felt like I was just going at such a great pace at my work, that I felt like it would have really slow me down at the end.
But I do wish that I would have took the extra time in hindsight.

Another older finished model. Last year I started posting pics of my Kampher but never put up photos of the finished kit.
I loved it at first, but now I see to much of my lazy modeling when I look at it nowadays. As sometimes I get so caught up in seeing my kits completed that I forego a lot of important steps.

I think it's this kit that made me want to focus on trying to prep my kits the proper way. Instead of just cutting where the part meets the sprue and snapping pieces together like I was at the time. Not that there's anything wrong with that if you want to do so.

The shading works well also, giving it a weathered look and the finish is nice and smooth. Love the minimalist detailing too. Coupled with the shading and color tones used, it gives me the impression that it's a workhorse suit.

This is my finished Blitz Gundam. I worked on this in small spurts over the last 5 months, and started out with ton of ideas for it. But eventually when I finally sat down to paint it... I just said screw it and painted it however I felt at the moment!
Honestly, I've got to say that I really enjoyed painting something and not adhering strictly to a plan!

Basically i just did some post shading to spotlight instead of showing depth, and switched a few colors. And i don't have his weapons and shield anymore so i just did a quick improvisation.

Yeah, sometimes adhering to a set-out plan becomes too boring. Too much improvisation can be bad too, but when done at the right moment, it can be glorious.

Your Blitz Gundam is a glorious piece and I must say, the color scheme feels like an homage to an 80's mecha.

Thanks Dlinker! And you are so right about to much of either, because you can improve something right into the ground if your not careful.

I grew up in the 80's and the mech boom of that time gave me a deep love of the genre that I continue to have today. I still remember watching Macross,Go-Shogun,Tranzor -Z and all the staples of the time, being completely engrossed in them Like the typical 80's nerd I was. So i'm sure that even without noticing it those influences are always creeping out.

Getting a good mental image is always a very helpful thing to do. It's difficult. But useful. Do you have Photoshop? If so, why don't you take some lineart of the Jesta and color it up? Or the Decal page in the manual. That's what I did for my Stein.

I used to scan and use paint.net to test out different color schemes, But that was when I still had my Wacom tablet.

Do the shield bits cause a weight issue when attached without using an action base?

Thanks. Last year I really got into those gunpla inochi tutorials, as his kits always have amazing poses that completely capture gundam. So this was a direct result of that.

And yes, there are weight issues even on ground. The posing is restrictive in the way that you have little room to move the kits body when attached, as they are very heavy and right behind him. I actually did not have them connected to him on the ground.

Yeah, I noticed that on the pic so that's why I was wondering. Now we know why the darn suit only operated in space in the movie, haha.

I need to learn how to do better poses now too and perhaps I can "borrow" some ideas from your pics.

Man the blitz is way bad ass my inquire on how you did the fad like you did I have been trying this here and there but nothing seems to come out right.

Thanks. Say I'm working from the center outwards. I first build up a color in the middle then I mist coat over it, aiming my brush ahead of the color and stopping where i chose. You'll notice that the overspray begins to blend the edges into an gradient. Also you can adjust the paint a tad to make sure that your tones don't completely blend together.

For like say an rectangular shape. I do the same misting process, just build the colors in a vertical fashion.
So the basic idea that i use to create fading gradients is to mist coat.

That's just my process, i'm sure there's more better ways to achieve it.

RGM-96X Jesta. This is the first kit that I tried using the masking tape, block pattern method on.

I also tried a different under coat for my silver thanks to some information from Dlinker.

Dlinker
June 24, 2013, 1:23 PM
Yeah, I hate it when you try to pose a finished kit and the paint just gets scratched like no tomorrow. One reason why I've become super anal about joints and the like.

I posted my praise in your WIP thread so I'll sum it up here: Rocking good work and the details add plenty of character, especially the areas that look to be chipped.

Curious about the painted hands too.

jaqio
June 24, 2013, 3:44 PM
Thanks! I Basically just had the hands posed in a way where most of the knuckle joints would show and the fingers spread apart.
Then i sprayed gloss black/gunmetal mixture on until it looked like a good coat, and finished them with a few rounds of future.

Unfortunately, one of the knee joints are scratching off the paint, but the hands seem to take the friction well.

thwalker13
June 24, 2013, 4:53 PM
Hmm, interesting. Lacquer based I'm guessing? Either way they look great. I find it odd that knee would scratch and not the hands.

Dlinker
June 24, 2013, 5:04 PM
Hmmm, pretty standard procedure then. That's good, nothing fancy.

I echo thwalker13's question: done with lacquer or acrylics? I wonder if it's due to the hands/fingers being of a more flexible plastic.

jaqio
June 24, 2013, 5:09 PM
Just plain old Tamiya acrylics. I am going to start using Lacquer paint on the inner frames though. As i'm tired of the joints always getting scratched up!

One thing that seems to help though is not pushing the pieces flush against the joints during final assembly. As on one of the legs I left just a small bit of space without it affecting the outward appearance. And there were no scratches the joint.

And you know? I thought that the knuckles retaining the paint was weird to! But they are sort of loose in the socket. so there might not be enough friction to damage it. Upon reading Dlinkers post, now I think it may be the more flexible plastic that's helping.

Dlinker
June 24, 2013, 6:53 PM
The great thing about lacquer paints is that they're sandable (or so I've heard) so that probably means they're much more forgiving when it comes to friction, instead of peeling straight off with acrylics or enamels.

Glad to see we're all trying out new things. More opportunities to learn and experiment for all!

June 24, 2013, 7:57 PM
Yeah, I completely agree with you. Being on this board makes me want to try to do better work and use different approaches that I would normally back away from.

Like now, some of the things i'm going to focus on will be, better airbrush control ,gradients in highlights and better photos.
As I've been thinking of a lengthy project to start by years end. And I would like to use a good variety of techniques in this one.

jaqio
June 25, 2013, 7:49 AM
I'm more than happy to help out! Just remember that I did move the joints around a good bit to loosen them, as they are quite stiff out of the box.

As for the project a want to start by years end? Basically it's a "Dude digs Giant Guns" Build. A play on the Megas XLR theme song.
I'm going to build about 4-5 kits that I feel are insanely armed. I've got 1 kit already but need to budget the others. so it may be a while since i'm currently looking for a new apt.

The kits are 1.Rezel Type c. which I do own. 2.MG Heavyarms EW 3.MG Buster Gundam and 4. Full Armor Unicorn.
The 5th one I am on the fence about. As I have 2 choices. Kotobukiya's Combat-san with MSG parts and mods to create a BFG and shield. Or FAZZ sentinel version.

I feel i'm ready to start a long term project that will incorporate a theme and challenge me to do all that I've been learning and some new things to.
So, that's the plan right there. but "the best laid plans of mice and men often go astray" Astray! get it! har har har... sorry.

Astray? You're building and modding up a PG Red Frame Astray, aren't you? I kid, haha.

I think it's an excellent theme to base your next projects on and the kits you selected are all great stuff. Regarding your fifth choice, I would go for the Combat-san because the FAZZ seems too similar to the Full Armor Unicorn (big, bulky, brick-like, with plenty of firepower), which you're already building. As a change of pace, but still with the theme, you know? As always, though, go with what speaks to you most :)

Here's to your success with this undertaking, which I'm sure is certain going by what you've done before.

jaqio
June 25, 2013, 1:42 PM
Thank You for the suggestion and vote of confidence. And i have decided to pick Combat-san for the 5th spot. As it would give some good variety for a same themed project.

I'll have certain things that i'll want to meet with each individual kit in the project, and with unicorn the whole brick issue will be what i would like to
somehow rectify in a way. As I always see this amazing kit drooping because of all the weaponry! So I think if I could place a few small clear rods in the right areas i'll be able to get a few good poses and have it stay there. But, i'll have to see sometime later this year when I get it.

Dlinker
June 25, 2013, 3:40 PM
I hear you on that. Those kits have many similarities, but many differences as well. It will be interesting to see what you do to address any limp limb issues. I always opt for tightening joints with Future, but then I risk the plastic breaking from too much friction.

That Combat-san will be a unique kit too. Reminds me of my Danball Senki kit I still need to work on.

jaqio
June 25, 2013, 9:59 PM
I kind of tried the rod fix on my strike noir. As it had loose leg joints, so I cut some small pieces from it's runner and put the bits in where the joint meets the leg. And so far so good.

And I love building those Combat-san kits! I already built 3. So I think it will be pretty nice to have one that fits in with this heavy armament theme.

Dlinker
June 26, 2013, 2:17 AM
For me, it's HG kits that often have loose limb syndrome (and the Dynames, since it's essentially an up-sized HG). Been wondering if it's okay to drop some Future on those polycap joints to tighten them up.

Already built three? I think I need to visit your Flickr page again, haha.

jaqio

From the 3 koto weapons I've owned, they have fit all of them. sometimes you have to attach them to the bare pegs though.

And without a doubt I have planed to have Combat-san as the lead figure. I'm thinking of taking those huge fuselage binders that I cant get to stay on my Ex-s Gundam and trying to incorporate them in that build.

As for multiquoting, all you have to do is hit the little box to the right of "Reply with Quote" and a little check mark will appear. Do that for ever post you want to quote in a single post. And on the last one, hit "Reply with Quote" and it will bring up every post that you check marked into a single post.

Sorry for the long time responding to you! I'm rarely am on the boards now, so I did not see anything.

But to the questions. Dllinker posted awhile back the effects of undercoating for metallic paints. Like using Gloss White for Silver or Gloss Yellow for Gold! I used these 2 myself after he posted this information and really liked the effects. So i now use it about 75% of the time. Also, I tend to use it when I want to make a custom colored kit.

I normally build up the undercoat in about 2-3 mist coats. Then i repeat the same process when I coat that with the metallic.

Thanks! I still think it's one of my better efforts.

You're back! Man, it's been a while. I like how your style of working with muted colors look on this kit. The last pic makes the Tallgeese look incredibly menacing.

Hey Bossguy! How's everything been? Glad to see you still onboard! I tend to kind of be a loner, so I was sort of just off to myself for awhile. But, i always have been meaning to check the board and see what everyone was doing.

Thanks for the comment to. Now since buying a better camera I find myself playing with lighting a little more. The Tallgeese pics where some of my 1st attempts but still favorites of my pictures.

Things have been going well lately. I've become incredibly paranoid of paint fumes and whatnot, so that's been hindering things in this hobby. It's great to have you posting here again. Glad that you're alive! :D

Good to be back friend! I myself had to stop using Tamiya Acrylic Silver recently. As even with my 3m mask on, it left me incredible queasy after using it? Plus I moved recently into a townhouse that is not paint fume friendly at all!
So I have not been painting as much as I would like to.

Ah, I remember seeing your Tallgeese a while back when I perused your Flickr account. It took me a while then to realize that extra big gun with it is an M2 Browning, haha.

Sucks to hear about your paint woes. It's a good thing you've made some really good kits while you had the chance.

Hey Dlinker! Yeah my airbrush system is still on the brink! but I cant afford to step it up and get a $300+ unit at the time. so I have to work around it.

I wish I did Know what kind of gun that was though? As I just got it about 13 years ago with a really cool Army figure. Oh and I love that OO custom you did. Just amazing!

Glad to see that you're back Jaqio! Welcome back to the boards. That Tallgeese is amazing man. Every part of it looks fantastic, and that huge gun. Reminds me so much of the Tallgeese III.

That's strange. You were using the organic vapor cartridges with it, right? Seems that your body built up an intolerance to the chemicals. At least we were able to see your great looking earlier builds.

Thanks Bro. That's what had inspired my choice to do add the huge gun! But the gun is so heavy i couldn't try some cool poses with it after painting.

Yep! i was using them and everything. Even bought new filters to. But when i tried to paint with the stuff again i was on the verge of throwing up for about an hour?
So i had to go with enamels and lacquers for chrome.
Weird, isn't it!

What! That's really weird. Tamiya acrylics made you queasy, but not enamels or lacquers? That's super strange.

That is weird. Of all the paints that I use, Tamiya has the least pungent smell to them.

Yeah? I used to even use these without a mask, as dumb as that was! But it's something about the chrome that just messes me up!

G-Xiphos. Kinda of annoying to pose for some reason? I think it's the huge legs that threw me off!

That looks amazing. The mods work really well. The lighting helps make it look intimidating.

I hand painted with Tamiya without a mask many times. Were you spraying it without the respirator?

Thank You! Oh and I used to hand paint with out the respirator. Which was probably still not the best thing to do on my part. The only thing i'll spray without it is future.

I've checked the whole thread and damn awesome work man! I like the subtle shading of your kits and the way you customize them is amazing. I've seen your MG Delta before in the other forums and the color scheme is absolutely beautiful.

Thanks again!I have been trying to use different colored backdrops and camera settings lately to get more detail and mood in my pictures. As I was tiring of my shots feeling so similar.

Thanks for taking your time to look at my kits. I really appreciate it! You know, I still have my Delta Plus (R.I.P.) on the display shelf. Whereas I kind of boxed my remaining older kits for good.

Hopefully this will post separately from my last?

This is my Guncannon that i recently finished. I have wanted to create a multi kit themed project since last year that was about them big ol' guns! But i had to stop painting for a few months and kind of lost a good deal of interest in gunpla for awhile.
But i've been getting back into the hobby recently, and finished my 1st part of the project!

I did a lot of beveling and some reshaping to make the suit itself look less chunky and rounded! But it's all subtle when you look at it though. Which sucks, cause you want for the effect to come off more when you do that kind of stuff. But i see a noticeable difference myself. I got about 4 more kits i want to add to this project, and have 2 more already built, and in mod stage at this point. But i'm finding myself having less time to work on models nowadays! So i'm at another halt with the project at this point.

That is beautiful. Some much needed Guncannon love. I am a big fan of the darker patches strewn all over the armor. It would fit right into Thunderbolt. All it needs is the cloth covering over the joints.

Thanks Bossguy! That cloth covering idea sounds pretty good!
I have been wanting to build some of the older kits for years now. And this is a real fun and quick build, with a lot of possibility for doing some custom work.
