Are those rivets and that screw part of the original kit, or did you add those? They look nice! Also, what is that orange/red shade? I need to match a color that is almost exactly that for a future kit!

This will be a really cool version of Genoace. Love what I'm seeing so far.

Thanks Guys
@Squee,everything is a part of the original mold, the screw i think is just the flash of the camera as i just painted over the polycap. The color is a 4 part mix, i used tamiyas acrylics for this also, it's red as a base then yellow then titanium silver. After that just add a few drops of black till you get the shade to what i prefer as the silver will of course lighten it up quite a bit.

the genoace is looking good jaqio.

I was wondering in the first pic, there seems to be white spots covering it, is that dust or intentional white droplets for effect?

Thanks gdx9902.
I suck at keeping my work area dust free so yup, it's dust.
Small Kit few pieces final pics.

June 12, 2012, 1:16 PM
Well you did one hell of a job. I've never built or even know anything about Zoids. But that thing looks awesome.

That great saber looks dope! You should make a nice desert base for him to pose on!

Thanks so much for the generous words guys.
I only wish i had the talent you guys do cause i have thought of doing a dio with it. I have even been looking at one of those $20.00 dioramas at hobby lobby to try to get a start at making scenerys. Do either of you guys know if there any good for begginers?

Those things are pretty good for beginners. They have directions, but they are not always specific which allows for creativity.

Thanks for the help Joe. I've been looking at them for about a year now, but much like resin i really want to move into that area of this hobby but i'm a little hesitant to go at it.
