I went ahead and took some pictures. I still have to work on the box, but i will probably work on that sporadically.

Ignore the stand, its only a temporary hold. I have no idea what happened to the action base connector for this. Disappeared from the box somehow.

Yup, it cracked from the Tamiya Line accent wash. I could try to fix it, but i already glued the two halves of the head together, and i don't want to deal with gluing/masking that area.

Edit* Damn you, i'm gonna go fix it now. I just realized, i wanted to paint the extra hands anyway, so i'll have the white out already.

The violet shading is subtle but striking - it's really nicely done!

Looking very nice, i think i might try the purple pre shading on the dendrobium.

Thanks. The photos don't really show it off. Like across the room, you can really see the violet IRL.

How about a blue?

I thought about blue and grays and greens but im going to try some liquid masking for chipping effects and lots of weathered paneling so the pre shaping is going to be toned down quite a bit. My thinking is to start of with a bit more colour than normal so its not lost in the weathering. me.

Wait, the panel wash cracked the plastic? How?

Enamel wash and unpainted plastic are not a good mix, the wash will do horid things to your kits. I learnt that hard way.

Huh. Glad I hard that here before trying it myself.

Yup, a tiny micro crack, and the wash widened it even with it being fully painted. :/

Bummer, man. Maybe I'm just really lucky with that stuff, as I've never had it crack a part to the best of my knowledge. (I crack parts via idiocy!) Kit looks badass otherwise! I really dig the lighter shade of blue for the armor.
