So I don't know why but I'm drawn to this model, maybe because I don't see a lot of them being done. Here's my latest semi-finished RB-79K. The green turned out to be a bit darker then what I was going for... but I still think it works. This isn't finished at all, still need to weather it, and get some decals going.

I really enjoyed painting the little hoses and connections, even though they just get covered up by the armor plating haha. I am going to back in with smoke and get some soot in those thrusters asap.

I think I'm going for a bit of weathering that shows some rust runs down the sides. This ones been in atmosphere a bit, and was in sea for a salvage mission. You gotta have a story for them right?

I just love the tiny details they give you the chance to use. The red lines are the control cables, and the silver horizontal bar (shit picture I know) is actually metal rod, no need to paint at all. Since it is a piston it will have some oil streaks for sure.

All in all I'm very pleased with the way it turned out. I'll probably finish this guy up in the next few days. I'll try and remember to take pictures of the process. I always remember to take them almost just too late to separate what I can and go back through.

Thanks for looking guys! :D

Thanks Sachi3! I thought it was going to be a way lighter shade of green, but this works too. I've only put a few of these Gundams together, but this is one of the easiest by far. I'm sure you could get it no problem!

This would do well in a Gunpla Battle.
