Just got around to taking some proper pics of my (mostly) finished PG Astray. I say mostly because I have yet to build the shield and rifle but I wanted to take some pics of it just with the Gerbera Straight anyway because it just looks great on the kit IMO- no need for anything else. This was pretty much just a straight build with lots of lining (gray on the white parts and black on the others) and some detail painting on the pistons which unfortunately have been mostly covered up by the armor anyway. I also did some detailing in the cockpit and I'll try to get some pictures of those sections when I get a chance to paint Lowe himself. The only other part that has been repainted is the "handle wrap" on the Gerbera Straight. The whole thing has been finished off with Mr. Super Clear flat top coat and I opted to only do some of the decals since the suite is pretty busy looking by design but I absolutely love it. I'm pretty happy with it overall but I know there's always room for improvement. I could definitely see myself getting another of these somewhere down the line to do a full repaint on. Any feedback is always appreciated- thanks for checking it out.

Amazing work sir. The added lining and decals looks great and the line work you did on the Gerbera Straight makes all the difference. Awesome job!

You were aiming for a clean build and you achieved it big time. Very clean PG you got there and the flat coat application is spot-on. It seriously makes me want to break mine out of the box and start de-nubbing it.

Thanks very much. Yea they did a great job with the chrome on the blade. Adds a nice contrast to the flat finish.

Thanks very much! I appreciate all the feedback along the way. There was quite a bit of lining to do on this kit but it was well worth it.

Thanks. I appreciate it! Yea I wanted to be sure the flat coat came out well so I took my time on it and did it in sections rather than doing the whole thing at once. Looking forward to seeing yours when you get to it.
