View Full Version : buster gundam 1/100 w,i,p

hello my name is luke, I have been bulding model kits for some years now mainly military and cars but have recently moved into the world of gudam kits (and really enjoying it :cool:) I was told about this forum by a friend who said I should post some of my current wip on my buster 1/100 kit.

so far I have completed 1 leg unit and I am going for the battle worn look using various weathering methods. I am also thinking of incorporating some lighting into the build but we shall see:wink:. anyway here are some pics of where I am upto

Some really nice looking weathering and rust you have there man. It'll really give the Buster some life.

Extremely impressive work. How much time would you say you have just in that one leg?

I can't wait to see the end results.

Oh wow! That is the most awesome weathering I've seen. You've done this a lot huh? Looks amazing man.

Loving the textured weathering on that leg. I'm interested in seeing how you do the rest of the kit. Not often do you see beat-up SEED kits around here.

Almost forgot too, did you paint the parts completely first?

Thank you for the warm welcome guys:grin:. got a bit more done on the buster kit. the legs are now done and have been attached to the waist unit

Thankyou, yes everything was sorted into base colour groups first (which too some time) and then sprayed

This is how I envision my Buster when I get to him but fear it wont look anywhere near as good.

This is just amazing.

Feeling like the noob I am looking at these pics.
