So I have been hard at work, cranking out all the scratchbuilding. I know that to some, these updates don't look like much, but they are indeed considerable progress compared to what I was doing last fall when I first started this project.
I am still working on my gouf, and decided to make it its own separate thread, which will be coming soon.

For Right now, I have begun to continue with basic scratchbuilding on the large exo-arms for the sub unit, similar to the Gundam Hazel.

I decided to scratch build the shield which would be held on the left exo-arm.
Doesn't it look familiar?????

I added to the upper rear flap, along with some inner details.
Also added a bottom rear flap as well.

Just some close ups of the legs again, showing the thrusters and some more additional armor pieces. The back skirt now has some additional thrusters attached to the side skirts.

To say the least, this things is gonna be bug for 1/144, and will most definitely need an action base, just another thing I need to pick up in China town this weekend ;)
This thing is gonna have so many thrusters on it, its crazy.
That's it for now, let me know what you think so far please!
Will continue working on Exo-arms, shoulder armor and the shield tomorrow.

Continued working on the shoulders and exo-arm units.
Also added additional fire power on the shoulder pieces.

I need the opinion of others for the next part, which is the type of manipulators that should be placed on the exo-arms.
Should I have hand like manipulators, or claws?
Feedback would be most helpful!

Suit already has hands so I choose the one thing that's missing: claws.

Also, excellent scratch build you got going here. I can't scratch build to save my life so I'm always awed whenever I see it.

woah woah woah. You attached a big ass, full metal rocket booster on the back of a zaku?

AW HELL YEAH. I want to do something like this down the road.

Subbed. I wanna see where it goes :)
