So, I've noticed a few others have made a thread to post all their work in. So I decided to do the same. I have other models, but they're being worked on when I have the time.

But here is the latest one I've built: A HG 1/100 Sandrock Custom.

Now, I combined them to reduce the number of pictures being uploaded/shown. And It doesn't have stickers, because I plan on painting it.

With the Heat Shotels/Shorters.

And the other two pictures. *Edit*

With the cloak.

And because I like how it looks.

Oh wow, I didn't realize how much of a Bloom Effect the pictures had..

Nice Sandrock, Zelite. Do you plan on using spray cans or brush to paint the kit?

Brush more than likely.

Brush is the way to go. Although I do wish I had an air compressor for my airbrush.

I wouldn't know how to use an air compressor. Well..if I bought one, and those come with instructions..But I doubt I'd be very good at it in the use.

These might help, SFA. The higher-end ones are a little pricey, though...

Here are some youtube videos on airbrushing and such, Zelite. Might be useful...

So, I just bought a 1/100 Astray Green Frame. Expect pictures of this fairly soonish. (Like, a week..maybe)

Good G.O.D. what kind of camera are you using? A cell phone camera, perhaps? Those pictures are pretty fuzzy.

The last pic amuses me btw.

Oh, I forgot to add that you should try lining your kits in the future, they'll look a lot better in the end.

Looks like you're not using your camera's macro setting. Also, yeah, probably need to lose the flash/get better lighting. Nice job, though. I've wanted the 1/100 Green Frame for a while, so I'm quite jelly.

@Zeta: Nah, just a digital camera (Not mine). Yeah, the last one amuses me as well, which is why I did it. And, I would, but I think I'm horrible at it, and I never have the time for it anyways it seems.

@Risky (Can I nickname you that by the way?): Well, the pictures look a TON better with the flash (That or I need to be in better lighting in general), and as with mentioned above, the camera isn't mine..and I had no idea it even HAD a Macro setting. Thanks, though, came tofind out, I totally put the eye decals on wrong, you can't even see the gold part..it's just all red..and I'm too lazy to go back and fix it (Right now).

Lining is actually very easy with a Gundam lining marker (and a Q-tip) and, in my experience, one tends to get faster at lining the more they do it.

Like, panel lining secrets?

Also: Everyone knows secrets. If they were told, then there would be no point in calling it a secret.

I realize this. I was just replying. It's only logic.

I tend to favor logic over most everything else. Unless it's like, the humorus things..or chaos theory.

dont take this as rude but im assumeing you are a Star Trek fan?

Zelite
December 24, 2011, 2:24 PM
Haha. Yes. I am. It's more of a Spock fan than anything else really. My father got me into TOS when I was a bit younger, and I'm sure he'd have loved to see the movie they came out with, if he hadn't passed on years before it came out.

December 25, 2011, 5:47 AM
Ok now thats just plain weird, cause my dad got me into Star Trek and he knows alot about the lore of the seires than anyone else i know. to be honest im a fan of Montgomery Scot myself (not just for the Scottish accent, but due to the Fact hes Engineering, my favorite field)

Zelite
December 26, 2011, 12:22 AM
Nice. Scott is a great character too. But my second favorite would have to be Dr. McCoy. I LOVE the banter between him and Spock.

And now for some pictures.

Asterisk
December 27, 2011, 4:38 PM
Worst part, is her's is so messy, it's spilled onto mine to the extent that I've abandoned it in favor of a TV tray in front of the couch.

Zelite
December 27, 2011, 5:29 PM
Oh, seriously? You haven't used your desk WAY before I started stacking stuff on it.

Asterisk
December 27, 2011, 5:31 PM
Granted, but when it was in the bedroom, you'd clutter it up too. I preemptively abandoned it.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Zelite
December 27, 2011, 5:35 PM
You had more junk on your desk than I did. Don't deny it.

Asterisk
December 27, 2011, 5:36 PM
Granted, but my desk was 6ft long. I had more stuff, but spread over more space.

Zelite
December 27, 2011, 6:02 PM
Oh, THAT desk. Well I had no place to put my junk.

^This is why my work area has migrated to the basement. I can take up all the space I want down there.

We need like, a four bedroom place...Bedroom, and a room for each of us to have our stuff..and maybe a room for Emily.
