This was taken from /v/ and thought you guys would enjoy this. Basically you choose 3 characters that you would want in your party if you were ever to go on a bro quest. Here's a link to the original template: http://gonzobeans.deviantart.com/#/d45lcxs

Villains: http://gonzobeans.deviantart.com/art/Bro-Quest-Villains-251259473

Wiki with updated designs: http://broquestgame.com/wiki/index.php?title=Category:Characters Read the profiles and have a good laugh. Also REFERENCES. REFERENCES EVERYWHERE.

If you're having trouble reading the text just go to 'download image' next to the image (this should be obvious) and it should be readable. Or you can just google 'bro quest' and they should be some of the first results under images.

Here is some back story behind how this all came to be:
"What started as a poke on RPG stereotypes turned into an actual RPG making fun of RPG stereotypes.

Anon started with like eight characters then got interested and make a bunch more, added plot, added villains, and we now have a game base on this in the works.

The original idea was this thread basically, people choosing 3 heroes and making a party. Now we get a game too. Not much more than that."

Don't really know about the actual game but choosing the characters and imagining what kind of crazy shenanigans would ensue is fun in itself.

Happy pickings.

I'm gonna go with lifelong warrior friend, ancient steam knight, and devout dwarven monk. Mostly because of that jet 'stache.

This is a tough choice, but as of right now I'll go with Not-So Spoony Bard (AKA Black Freddie Mercury), Elven Time Mage, and Cursed Undead Knight With Amnesia. I'll most likely change later.

I say if we can't find an actualy set of rules, we should make some house rules.

Hold on there. Looks like this thing is really taking off. A group of people are actually turning this into a game similar to that of old 8-16 bit jrpg's. Here is some character theme music:

and though this probably won't make it into the game, here is a piano theme for the title screen that someone made a while back:

Reminds me of the prelude theme to Final Fantasy games. You know the one.

Where is the not so spoony bard?
My people are life long warrior friend , Eternally hotblooded rival and nameless rank and file soldier

Oh wow you're right. He isn't there. Probably because the sound of his righteously awesome theme music would make your ears explode. And everyone should have Nameless Rank and File Soldier in their party. He is destined to save the world.

I totally agree!
